Chat games are additional promotional features available in chat rooms whilst bingo is in play. They can be general knowledge based quizzes or more simple games involving numbers being called. An example of this is balloons - where you select a number between 1 and 90 before the game starts. If your chosen number isn’t called at all, you can type in ’still frying’ followed by the number you selected at the start of the game. If you are the first person to do this, you win the chat game and the relevant prize. This is just one of many bingo chat games - the chat host will usually confirm the game being played, its rules and prizes well in advance of the game starting! All of this information will be posted on the chat room for all to see.
Another popular chat game is ‘topsy turvy’, where you choose 2 numbers that are reversible ie, 63 & 36. Once both numbers are called, you type in ‘topsy turvy’. If you are the first to do so, you win the chat game and the prize.
Some clubs offering chat games are reviewed on bingoport.co.uk, informing members of games that pay cash prizes. Most clubs do require you to be a paying player in order to qualify you for chat games, although there are some who allow anyone to play!
